Anime these days are a big trend. Most of the people out there are enjoying anime as it provides realistic feels to it and mostly has amazing interesting plots.
Do you want to start enjoying anime too? Don’t know where to start? I got you! Here’s a list of the best anime of all time to start with.
Best Anime #1: Naruto
Naruto is a manga series written by Masashi Kishimoto. It is about the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a boy who wants recognition from the villagers of Konoha and dreams of becoming the Hokage, the leader of his village. The story is told in two parts the first set in Naruto’s pre-teen years, and the second in his teens.
Why naruto is the best anime I have seen because it offers you everything like action, adventure, a slice of life, comedy, etc. The full series is a roller coaster ride of emotions and feelings. The story plot is well built, small details have been considered by the writer in flashback moments, fighting animation are great & most importantly every character is well grown throughout the series.
It is a giant series to watch but if you start I can assure you it will keep you engaging throughout the journey of Naruto Uzumaki in all series and movies.
Best anime #2: Hyouka
Hyouka is a Japanese mystery novel written by Honobu Yonezawa. It is the first volume of the Classic Literature Club series. A 22-episode anime adaptation produced by Kyoto Animation and directed by Yasuhiro Takemoto aired from April 22 to September 16, 2012.
Older sister of student Hotaro oreki Requests him in a letter to join his School’s Classic literature club to stop it from being closed, as she herself was its member in past. Further Classic club is also joined by his friends Satoshi Fukube & Mayaka Ibara also by Eru Chitanda whom he didn’t know at that time. They begin to solve various mysteries, both to help with their club and at Eru’s requests as she gets excited easily by mysteries.
The main character Oreki is good at observing and solving mysteries. He also has a soft corner for Chitanda from the start & she is a curious girl who wants to know if something happened then why “???”. As Oreki believes in energy conservation, in short, he is lazy only Chitanda has the ability to get Oreki to use his mind and solve the mystery.
The ending is unexpected as it may have run to a few more seasons or at least some OVAs but it is good enough.
Best Anime #3: Anohana
“Anohana: Flower We Saw That Day” is a 2011 Japanese anime television series created by Super Peace Busters an artist collective consisting of director Tatsuyuki Nagai, screenwriter Mari Okada, and character designer Masayoshi Tanak. It consists of one season with 11 eye-watering episodes & has one of the best opening themes by Galileo Galilei -Aao Shiro.
A group of six childhood friends breaks apart after one of them, Meiko Honma (referred to as Menma) dies in an accident. The story starts five years after the incident, the leader of the group Jinta Yadomi, has cut from society, does not attend school, and lives as a shut-in.
One summer day, the ghost of an older looking Menma appears at his place and asks to have a wish granted so that she cannot pass on into the afterlife & reincarnated until it gets fulfilled. At first, he only tries to help her minimally because he thinks he is hallucinating.
But since ghost Menma does not remember what her wish is, Jinta gathers his all friends together once again believing that they are the key to solving this problem. All of the group joins him though most of them do so unwillingly. However, things grow complicated when his friends blame him for not being able to get over Menma’s death because no one else except Jinta can see her & believe Jinta is hallucinating.
Menma shows her presence to the group in order to prove that she is indeed real. All the group members eventually wish to shoulder the blame for Menma’s death and long-hidden feelings among the group start to come up. They all struggles while trying to help Menma to find her last wishes and also to let out their guilt of the day they all somehow hurt Menma & not able to apologize.
Best Anime #4: Tokyo Ghoul
Tokyo Ghoul is a dark fantasy Japanese manga series written by Sui Ishida. Anime adaptation’s season one consists of 12 episodes that were aired on Tokyo MX between July and September 2014. It is followed by three more seasons and 2 OVAs of character intros.
It is one of the best anime out there just like Naruto it explores many genres but in a con-size manner with 50 episodes only compare to 720+ in Naruto. The animation is good, the fight sequence is epic. I don’t think have any fillers so far every episode worth watching.
The main takeout from the series is you can’t handle anything alone try to ask for help from your friends and family more or you will end up in self conflicts which is not good for people around you & you as well.
Best Anime #5: Sword Art Online
Sword Art Online popularly also known as S.A.O. has fans around the globe. Its 25 episodes aired in 2012, and are based on the light novels by Reki Kawahara. The fans of massively multiplayer online games (MMO) will love this anime series. It is a great anime series with incredible music and sound.

The game connects players into a virtual reality world with the help of special NerveGear helmets. NerverGear helmet is used to full dive in the game’s artificial world which gives players real like experience almost like the real world.
Kirigaya Kazuto in-game referred to as “Kirito” is one of these gamers who is one of the first to log into the game in its beta phase and quickly becomes close friends with Klein after the official launch of the game, who is a newbie warrior. The gamers use their thoughts to control their avatars in the virtual world of “Aincrad”, where they get access to various weapons and have to complete different leveled quests to level up and earn game cash basically to survive.
All gamers pretty soon realize that they are not able to logout into the game and that they are held by the creator of the game until they are able to complete all 100 levels of the game. You can’t get any help from the outside world as if you get logged out forcefully you will die instantly by microwaves of NerveGear helmet or if you even die in the virtual world you will die in real one too.
