Staying up all night, sitting alone in the darkness with laptop screen Shining at your face,  seeing dark figures in the room and suddenly the evil ghost appears….. Believe me, that moment is when my heart pounds at an escalating level and my body paralyzes.

We all have had this feeling, and even after watching a deadly horrifying movie, you still like watching horror movies hats off dude.

10. Lights Out

It is one of those movies that focus on phobia. We are scared of those things which can’t be concluded by our five senses. Darkness disables our sight which triggers fear. The movie exclaims about what happens to humans when darkness appears. It all starts with Rebecca when she was a little girl and was haunted by a supernatural entity Diana, but she grew up thinking it as an imaginary friend. Time being passed, Diana gets attached to Rebecca’s mother Sophie, after these supernatural activities started to happen in her family when the lights were out, after the death of her stepfather she starts to investigate and things turned out mysterious and terrifying.

Just think of it like this, we all live in a place of constant honking and noise pollution and then all of a sudden you are in a place where u can’t make a single sound, if you did, you would die. How horrifying and deadly would that be? A Quiet Place is a story about a family who struggles in a tranquil world where most humans are killed by blind but noise-sensitive creatures, to survive they have to use sign language to communicate and keep the creatures at bay.

8. Hereditary

Family legacies are not something we want to have inherited, as with other inheritance. This movie takes a family inheritance and twists it into utterly terrifying. It starts when the eldest woman in the Graham family dies and her daughter and the family suffer through the grief, but the grief increases when her granddaughter dies in a cruelest and most terrifying car accident, the grief exceeds so much that it tries to tear the family apart. They unravel some sickening past about their ancestor and try to escape the sinister fate they inherited.

This movie brings real anxiety and apprehension throughout the movie because of the level of detail. The starting minutes of the movie are suspenseful and tensed. This movie is about a child who goes into a coma due to some unnatural activity and his father, through the help of her mother’s friend, gets inside his son’s head to find him and fight the evil. The ending was the tensest and surprising.

He lives with his wife Wendy and son Danny in the hotel. As Jack’s writing goes on he discovers dark secrets about the hotel and unravels into a homicidal maniac and starts terrifying his family.

With possessed house, haunted dolls, and terrifying basement, The Conjuring is a movie that can keep you in a demonic dilemma. The conjuring movie is about a family who moves into a farmhouse and the matriarch of the family starts to get possessed. They contact some demonologists to help their family.

This movie is about a writer who hasn’t published his bestseller in a while. He discovers a movie that shows the deaths of a family and encourages himself to solve the mystery. Intend to solve the mystery he moves him and his family into the victim’s home. After getting the footage and clues in the presence of some demon, he discovers that it is very fatal to live there with his family.

1. Annabelle: The Creation

One thing I’m most terrified of is that Annabelle doll. Jeez, that doll gives ominous creep. Annabelle: The Creation hit number one on my list because it scared me for a long period. The story of Annabelle starts when a small family of three suffers the loss of their only daughter. Intend to meet her and feel her again they summon a spirit in a doll.

But time being passed they discover that the spirit was no ordinary spirit. After many years they invite A Nun and six orphan children to live there, one of them finds the doll. But it is not what scared me most. The ending of how the linked with the first movie Annabelle was frustrating and terrifying.
